A Brooklynian thread has word of a pizza place on 4th Avenue and 17th Street that’s been garnering a lot of Internet buzz since opening a few months ago. A reviewer on Slice says Pepe’s Pizza & Panini offers “a stand-up pie that’s miles beyond that of any conventional-oven pizzeria currently operating in the neighborhood,” and it has plenty of admirers on Chowhound. Has anyone checked this place out?
