As Racked reported just before New Year’s, A.P.C, that beacon of French stylishness, is setting up an outpost in Williamsburg. The new store at 33 Grand Street won’t mimic the company’s Greene Street location too closely—it’ll be an outlet for “customized vintage military pieces, discounted items from past seasons, and…the line’s signature denim products,” according to Men.Style.Com. Racked was predicting a January 11th opening but when we drove by yesterday it didn’t look close to ready.

  1. Are we ever going to get over this shit???!!!! It’s ridiculous. I’m going to make a mass assumption here and venture a guess that most of you are not from here which means you’ve displaced someone, somewhere in this or any other neighborhood in new york. All these businesses, all these condos, all these bars are here because of us. Yes, even me a born and bred ny’er.

It’s boring and lame. Trustfunders, hipsters, frat dudes, blah blah blah.

What? You don’t think there exists a hipster trustfunder that was in a frat or his female equivalent.

Please. NY is awesome and will continue to be awesome until all of you who move here can do whatever awesome thing it is that you do in your own city. Until then we’ll all keep moving around displacing people and getting displaced.

    Have fun
