On Saturday, we took a field trip out to 3rd Ward, a workspace for creative professionals in East Williamsburg. The occasion was a holiday craft fair (inset) but we were able to take a tour of the 20,000-square-foot facility. Members (who pay anywhere from $30 to $60 a month) have access to wood and metal shops, audio and video studios, and computer labs. Great stuff. GMAP
