Loft Building? That’s No Loft Building

The most notable thing about this building is that it exists at all. Crammed into a trapezoidal sliver of land on the south side of Park Avenue between Grand Avenue and Steuben Street, the new four-story structure is now being pitched as a loft building on the street signage (it doesn’t get the time of day with Corco broker Deborah Rieders online). We’re generally optimistic longer-term about the blocks on either side of the BQE, but this kind of crapola doesn’t exactly help the cause. Question for the brokers: Is it ethical to take a listing that you’re too embarrassed to include on your website? BTW, Clinton Hill Blog also posted about this earlier this morning. GMAP
