This FRBO (for rent by owner) apartment in Bed Stuy caught our interest for a couple of reasons: (1) It’s in a charming brownstone and (2) The owners decided to promote it on a blog platform. We’re loving the wood moldings and fireplace; the ceilings are nice and high as well. There are no pics of the kitchen, but the owner assures us that’s because it’s being redone. We’re not too up on the Bed Stuy rental market so we’ll be curious to hear what readers think of the asking rent of $1,000. And, don’t forget, it’s rent stabilized.
