Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum: Fireside Feast
Today, Thursday, August 2, join historical interpreter Carolina Capehart at Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum for an evening of open-fire cooking, early 1800s style. Movies with a View
Tonight, Movies with a View presents Milos Forman’s 1979 film Hair, about a small town boy who meets the hippies of Central Park before shipping out to Vietnam. The short film Unlocked by Daryl Wein will be shown before the main feature. Thursday, 6:00 p.m. Film starts at sundown. Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park section of the Brooklyn Bridge Park. Prospect Park: Twilight Tour
Enjoy an evening of strolling and cruising, wine and cheese, and Prospect Park’s pond. Take a ride on the electric boat Independence followed by a guided tour of the Park’s nature trails. Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. $25. (718) 287-3400 x 114.
