Fresh on the heels of a succession of price cuts at one of the penthouse apartments at the Greene House, the price on a two-bedroom was trimmed from $948,000 to $936,000 on July 30. It’s a real two-bedroom (north of 1,000 square feet) and on a high floor—nothing to sniff at—but, still, we can’t see how they’re going to get this price when, for the same dough, you can pick up this two-bedroom on the 12th floor at One Hanson that’s 300 square feet larger. Granted we’re biased towards older buildings and the location of the Greene House is nicer, but we just don’t see it.
