  1. I own a bwonstone on PS and a mansion in Ditmas, and the people who had brain in their heads sold PS and bought Ditmas for 1/2 the price for double the lot and a driveway 2 years ago.
They keep sending their kids to ps321.
Pocketing about 1M in the bank and mortgage free house. All they have to do is take the bike to PS or walk the dog to the peninsula in the park instead of the meadow. In return they get parking bigggg yard and greenery. This is the last minute for ok deals in the Ditmas. Once the 3 luxury condos projects on the top of Coney Island ave. are done it will be hotttttt! and priced according to the law of the real estate physics of equalizing prices in a hot market.

  2. Many of the homes in Victorian Flatbush have the bones to be just as gorgeous as the hosue on E 17th. If you buy one for one million and plunk half a million or so into really nice upscale renovations. Wish my pockets were that deep!

  3. I agree w/ 10:47 – that’s a great location. Near the train, park, restaurants, movie theatre.. seems like a bargain price. 700 sq feet is a bit tight for a 2 bedroom though…Was the listing price just way too high?
