Following this morning’s joint press conference between the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Municipal Art Society to announce the Brooklyn waterfront’s inclusion on this year’s 11 Most Endangered list (a map of which can be found here), a group of press and other attendees were invited on a chartered water taxi for a narrated tour of the waterfront from Fulton Ferry up to Long Island City. As we were docking at the end, the fire department happened to be doing its annual blessing of the fleet part, which we captured above.
