Waldorf School Bound for Clinton Hill

After an exhaustive search that led it as far afield as Victorian Flatbush, The Brooklyn Waldorf School has found a new home for its ever-growing start-up school on the eastern edge of Clinton Hill. The school, which will be adding a second grade to keep up with the evolution of its current first grade, will be moving from its current location on St. Felix Street in Fort Greene to a brick four-family building at 67 Clifton Place. We don’t know how many floors of the building the school will occupy but we do know that it will have use of the backyard as a playground area. Renovation work is expected to start shortly and be completed in time for the new school year in September. This should only increase the traffic and demand for services (and the stroller traffic) in the burgeoning area of upper Grand Avenue, we’d think. GMAP
