The new development at 195 Classon Avenue (which you may recall had an ugly bout with Mother Nature last October) sure stands out from the other the rest of the brick houses and old factories on the block between Myrtle and Park. After trying to market and sell the 6-story, 10-unit building on its own for the past few weeks, the developer just decided to give the listing to Corcoran. There’s nothing up on the Corcoran site yet but the developer told us when we called that prices range from $699,000 for a first-floor unit to $900,000 for a penthouse with wrap terrace. We don’t have strong feelings about the design either way, other than not particularly caring for the big round arch over the entrance and thinking that there must be good light and views. It also looks like the new building going up at 159 Classon at the corner of Park won’t be much to look at.
