Phew! Someone has finally put the listing for 156 St.James Place out of its misery. As you may recall, Number 156 is one of four 12-footers (and by far the dumpiest of the lot) just north of Gates Avenue. This shit sandwich listing started out in early 2006 as an FSBO at $1,300,000. By the spring, the owner had handed it off to Weichert and dropped the price to $950,000. After several more months, the listing was moved to Fillmore where it most recently was priced at $799,000 before going into contract. It’s hard to imagine the seller even got that much. Anyone on the block know the contract price?
