Given that this is the view from the men’s bathroom in our office building in Dumbo, we’ve had a unique vantage point from which to chart the evolution of 133 Water Street from construction to condos to rentals. When these shades went up last week, we decided to check in with the listing agent for a status report. The low-down: As of yesterday 26 out of the 52 units were rented; the first tenants moved in on May 15. The remaining 26 units range in price from $2,900 a month for 723-square-foot one bedroom to $5,600 for a 1,343-square-foot three-bedroom. Has anyone seen the interiors in person? Care to comment?
