Brooklyn Bridge Park Summer Film Series Preview

In case you’re new around here, every day at this time we provide links to the day’s posts on the other blog in the Brownstoner Media family, BrooklynRecord.com. Lots of goodies about events, culture, food, etc. in the borough of Brooklyn. It tastes great and is less filling.

  1. I moved out of Williamsburg because the L-train totally peed me off. Train after train would go by without stopping, or without anyone getting on.
Its only going to get worse as the condos fill up.

  2. I just moved to Williamsburg. Maybe it’s the time of day when I commute (9:30), and maybe it’s because i’ve squeezed into rush hour E trains and 4-5-6 trains, but I don’t get what the bitching is about.

Yes, the trains are crowded. No, I don’t get a seat. However, it’s the fastest train I’ve been on in the city. The three stop strip to Union Square takes just a few minutes, as opposed to the interminable ride on the Lexington Ave. Line.

Honestly, I think a lot of these complaints are from spoiled hipsters.
