New Life for Seized Building on Myrtle

A reader sent in this photo of 464 Myrtle Avenue at Washington, where work began last week after a long period of inactivity following seizure by U.S. Marshals in 2003. The impetus? The government finally sold the property in March for $820,000, which seems pretty cheap to us. Not wasting any time, the owner has filed with DOB to install a new storefront. It’s unclear whether he’s using the opportunity to do work on the upstairs apartments as well. Any ideas what this place will be? What about the 2003 seizure drug-related, right? GMAP P*Shark DOB
