This four-unit condo on Bainbridge and Lewis (just a few houses outside the Historic District) just hit the market. Although we wish the renovation had managed to save some original details from the house (to be fair, there many not have been many), it looks like this was more than a flipper slap job. That said, the kitchen cabinets (although they allegedly are custom) look straight from Home Depot, the bathroom sink is too whimsical and the baseboard heating screams “rental” in our book. But the apartments are clean and filled with natural light and are very conveniently located near the A train, so we suspect there will be demand for the floor-through two-bedrooms at the $385,000 price point. The first showing was this past weekend. Anyone make it?
