With the rent-control tenants gone and Landmarks approval finally in hand, the Praedium Group has begun priming the former candy factory at 20 Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights for condo conversion. (The group also has plans to plunk down a four-story building on the adjacent garden on Poplar street next door.) The markings on the walls sent us on a sentimental trip down memory lane. Remember this? Update: Whoops. Word is that Praedium is trying to unload this building rather than develop it themselves; these wall markings are a few months old.
