The Leonard Lopate show today on WNYC is the culmination of a listener-generated photo project devoted to history of New York City architecture. For the past couple of weeks, readers have posted their own photos of buildings whose histories they are curious about. Today, Streetscapes columnist Christopher Gray stops by the studio to try to shed light onto some of them. While the large majority of submissions are Manhattan-oriented, there are a handful from Brooklyn and Queens, including this photo of St. Gregory’s on Brooklyn Avenue in Crown Heights.
