Furthering the growth of Downtown Brooklyn, developer Mario Procida has gotten approval — and started to build — a 25-story tower at 189 Schermerhorn. Although this block is zoned commercial, the 277,000-square-foot building will be residential. The architect is Stephen B. Jacobs but there’s nothing on the firm’s website yet.
