The Future of 418-422 Classon?

We got a bit of a scare when we read one of the comments on Atomische.com yesterday in reference to these three beautiful, albeit decrepit, buildings that the Pratt Area Community Council owns on Classon and Quincy that said, “I think you’ll love the new building and the fact that it was saved, but it won’t have the character that this does.” Holy crap, we though, what new building? Thankfully, we don’t think it looks like that’s the case. Back in June, PACC filed for a DOB permit with the following description:
EST COST $480,000. FILING TO COMBINE 3 EXISTING 3-STRY & BAS ROW HOUSES T O CREATE NEW MULTIPLE DWELLING COMPLETEREHABILITATION FOR EXISTING BLDG.COMPLET E NEW MH,PL & SPR SYSTEMS.
Restoring this facade is going to be a serious project. Hopefully, it will be fun to watch. Anyone know when work will get underway? Anyone at PACC wanna reno blog it?
