Fusion Infusion in Bed-Stuy
Reader Ari Fliakos sent us his review of a brand-spanking-new eatery, and we just had to share:
“Finally! Petit Bassam, a new restaurant offering international fusion cuisine, has arrived on Lewis Avenue. Recently opening in the space formerly known as Lewis and Ruby’s, to the left of Bread Stuy, Bassam offers appetizers that include: Coconut Prawns w/ Avocado Beet and Heart of Palm in Caribbean Thai Sauce, Calamari w/ Diavola Sauce; Entrees such as Balsamic Apple Glazed Pork Chops ($12), Chicken Breast Roulade ($12.75), Seared Wasabi Yellowfin Tuna ($14.95), Fettuccini Carbonara ($12) and Vegetarian Lentil Shepherds Pie Casserole ($9). Currently serving beer and wine with full liquor license pending.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was excellent. The only complaint we had was the bathroom–seemed like a little bit of a renovation afterthought. Erin and I tried the Jumbo Lump Crab Croquette and the Mushroom Bisque Soup…both were absolutely delicious–truly. Hooked.”
Thanks, Ari!
