This is a beautiful old brownstone with gorgeous period details (on one of our favorite streets) but we think the seller may be reaching a bit. The house traded for $872,500 back in May 2005 and now it’s back on the market for $1.15 million. Given that 242 Hancock, a larger, more architecturally significant house that admittedly needs work, went into contract in September in the low $900′s, we’re not sure how this 18-footer two blocks further east will be able to fetch $200,000 more. But, man, she sure is purdy!
