Readers of the Sunday Times will know that 160 Maple, which was the subject of much debate on Brownstoner in the old PLG-bashing days of last Spring, has just sold for $970,000. As you may recall, this was initially on the market for $925,000 before the asking price was raised to $975,000. Several readers raised their eyebrows at the move, but the sellers were ultimately vindicated, though it probably took longer than they had expected. We were bullish at the time and aren’t too surprised at the news: Flight to quality in a weakening market.
