With all the talk of bluestone on the site this week, we thought we’d share this photo we took last weekend on Washington Avenue between Dekalb and Willoughy of some serious chunks of the stuff. We’re wondering what plans the building has for these pieces. A block closer to the BQE, we stopped in at the Open House for this old wood frame house that is very chopped up and needs a ton of work; the exterior has some charming details though. Seems like a bit of a stretch at $1,199,000 given all the work that’s needed. Good location though. Anyone know what the garden is like?
