I work for a major news organization and we were sent a press release earlier in the week stating that there were going to be military fly-overs. You may have noticed other planes flying next to the f-16’s and c-130’s, they were filming/photographing the formations for an unspecified reason.
They should give us some notice about fireworks too. I climbed onto my roof last night just in time to see the end of a pretty cool fireworks display. That must have been for fleet week too.
They almost gave my poor cat a heart attack.
I don’t drive. DOn’t own a car and if you are so proud of them you certainly didn’t make it sound that way. And I totally agree about the way they have been used and abused.

Mr. Anonymous, you’re right about those top pilots, you’re right that I’m impressed (as I stated), and you’re right about the Iraq war being about the oil. The only thing you got wrong was my car: it’s a ’94 Saturn. It still gets 28 city/34 highway. What do you drive?
P.S. I’m proud of our military. I’m not proud of the way they’ve been abused and misused by their Commander in Cheif.
