Across the street from the ugly newish townhouse condos on Poplar that we looked at last week are some architecturally and historically significant buildings. In the middle of the block at Number 72 sits the old police building that appears to no longer be in use; it would be interesting to hear about its past. Flanking the police station are two old woodframe houses at 64 and 80 Poplar. Number 64, on the right, has been owned by the same guy for at least the last thirty years; Number 80′s title history is a little messier so it’s hard to tell what’s been going on. GMAP
