A reader drew this place to our attention last night knowing we’d get all hot and bothered. This is a real mansion, a whole step up from a rowhouse brownstone in size and grandeur. $1.6 million is an equally gigantic chunk of change for a house in Bedford Stuyvesant. (It’s only a few blocks in from Clinton Hill, however.) But 12 bathrooms? What do you do with 12 bathrooms. The broker promises in the ad that there are “many historic attributes” and the exterior looks well cared for enough that we wouldn’t doubt it, but, man, do we wish Relo Realty (huh?) had included some interior shots with the ad. As usual, we’d like to know what the block–Quincy and Bedford–is like.
