As reported last week, Forest City Ratner is proceeding with the demolition of six buildings on the grounds that they pose imminent threat of collapse. Two of the targets are 461 and 463 Dean Street, pictured above. They certainly don’t look like buildings that need to be torn down–is this all really just gamesmanship? If so, how depressing.
