  1. FYI — I was walking down 15th street today and it looks like the demolition next to the “House with FAR up the wazoo” has started. By my count, then, that makes two substantial condo projects in progress on 15th street between 5th and 6th, one on 15th between 5th and 4th, two on 16th between 5th and 6th, and one on 16th between 4th and 5th. It’s not very hard to tell where the Park Slope downzoning ends, is it? I can’t imagine that 5th Ave at 16th is going to be 99 cent stores and used furniture stores for long!

  2. The ones on 16th street are not really above ground yet, or at least not the ones on the south side of the street. The smaller building on the north side of the street is further along and now has a Corcoran sign on it. The two buildings on 15th street are much further along and also much larger.
