After sealing the ceiling (aha) and sanding the walls of the bathroom we got down to painting. First came the off white, whose real name I forget. Benjamin Moore has a stupid number of shades of white paint. Stupid large. Anyway, we brought the white down to the level of the picture moulding. What was great was the transforming quality of the paint on the raised frieze-work that we were able to save. It went from looking like plastic to plaster.

Up next: the rest of the walls.

i love looking at the interior of your house, it is so similar to ours and it gives me hope that one day, we too will have walls that need paint.

looking good
