. . . and on to painting

Like every other order of business in the house, er, bathroom, setting out to do one thing becomes doing five things first in order to do that original thing. in this case, that thing is painting.
The walls required a lot of prepwork, and also, we had to protect our newly grouted and sealed tile. The pipes had to be wrapped, some of the ceiling needed to be sanded, some more compound was needed in corners to smooth things out.
The ceiling we needed to seal before painting since it was new drywall. We figured we didn't need to seal the walls before painting since there had already been paint there.

Peter. Who did you use to replace your brick pillars in the cellar with steel beams. I need to do the same but have no leads on contractors. Please help. Thanks much.
