A home inspection uncovered the fact that the hatch for roof access was sheetrocked over during a recent renovation. The potential homebuyer would like the homeowner to open the hatch so that the roof can be inspected, but that seems unlikely to happen. Should the buyer be concerned that there might be more hidden issues with the remodel? Is this worth walking away from a purchase?
