A reader is desperate to have their cornice and parapet restoration project finished before winter. The work began in the spring with a six-week timeframe but the contractor has failed to finish the project more than six months later. Now that cold weather has hit the contractor wants to take down the scaffolding without finishing the project, leaving the owners to shiver through the winter. They have already paid the contractor the bulk of the project fees so aren’t sure what financial recourse they might have.

Please chime in with advice.
