From the Forum: How Do You Clear an Environmental Control Board Notice of Violation?
Once an Environmental Control Board violation has been paid how do you get the violation cleared from the record?
A reader has some questions about how to clear an Environmental Control Board (ECB) notice of violation after some plumbing work. (The Department of Buildings and other city agencies can issue an ECB notice when a home violates safety rules; the Environmental Control Board is an administrative tribunal that holds hearings for infractions.)
They said that they’ve fixed the work and paid the fines, but that the violations were not automatically removed from their record.
Please chime in with any advice you have.
